Immersive by Sandsgaard (“we”, “us”) is an animation and visual effects studio in Franklin, Tennessee and Stockholm, Sweden. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have. Questions? Email stian@sandsgaard.com.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your email address, your message and which part of the site you contacted us from.
- Facebook and Instagram lead forms. If you answer one of our ads with a lead form, we receive the details you enter there, such as your name and email address.
- Meta Pixel. Our website uses the Meta Pixel, which can use cookies or similar technology. It tells Meta when you visit the site and when a contact message is sent, along with technical data such as your IP address and browser details. Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account. The site also keeps a short-lived marker in your browser so that a sent message is only counted once.
- Hosting data. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs so that the site can load and stay secure.
How we use it
- To reply to you and to discuss or deliver a project.
- To measure how our ads perform and show them to relevant audiences.
- To keep the site working and secure.
If EU or UK data protection law applies, we handle contact and lead details to respond to your request, to take steps before a contract and for our legitimate interest in running the studio.
Who we share it with
We use FormSubmit and Web3Forms to deliver contact form messages to us, Meta for advertising, lead forms and the Pixel, Vercel for hosting, and an email provider to read and answer messages. These companies may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Meta uses data under its own privacy policy.
We don’t sell your email address or your message. We may share data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and lead details for as long as we need them to talk with you, deliver work and keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email stian@sandsgaard.com and we’ll help.
To limit ad tracking, change the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, or block cookies in your browser.
If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. In Sweden, that’s IMY.
Children
Our services are for businesses and aren’t aimed at children.

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
